The Suntree DC Circuit Breakers are high-performance protective devices designed for a wide range of DC applications, including solar photovoltaic systems, battery banks, DC-DC chargers, lighting systems, and other energy storage solutions. These breakers are available in 2-pole versions for up to 1000V and 4-pole versions for systems operating up to 1500V.
They provide essential overcurrent and short-circuit protection, ensuring system safety and performance. Specifically engineered for direct current, the Suntree DC MCBs are capable of safely interrupting continuous current flow—unlike AC breakers—thanks to their robust arc-extinguishing technology.
Key safety features include fast fault isolation, high short-circuit breaking capacities (up to 8kA), and a U-shaped magnetic blowing structure that enhances arc suppression. Built for reliability and long service life, these breakers offer a mechanical lifespan of up to 10,000 operations and an electrical lifespan of up to 2,000 cycles.
